What is vehicle wrap?
Vehicle wraps are custom-made, large sheets of adhesive-backed vinyl film designed to transform the color or appearance of a vehicle, similar to applying a giant sticker. Available in various shapes, sizes, styles, and finishes, these wraps can achieve a range of looks, from full-color changes in matte, satin, or gloss finishes to more unique options like chrome or a “carbon fiber” appearance.
In addition to solid color wraps, vehicle wraps can feature printed designs that include imagery, photos, graphics, or branded elements, making them perfect for businesses or organizations wanting to promote their brand. Wraps can also be used as accents on specific vehicle features such as trim, spoilers, hoods, roofs, and trunks.
The possibilities are truly endless. Thanks to recent advancements in vinyl production technology, wraps can now include textured finishes like leather, alligator, snake skin, holographic, and 3D films.

How much does a vehicle wrap cost?
The cost of a vehicle wrap varies greatly depending on the scope of the project. A complete “full” wrap, which includes door jambs, inner door frames, and sills, offers the most comprehensive coverage and is ideal for those seeking a full color change. This level of vinyl coverage is the most expensive option.
For a budget-friendly option, partial wraps that do not include door jambs, frames, and sills are available.
All listed prices are base prices and can vary depending on the vehicle type, surface complexity, and the specific film used.

Does a vehicle wrap damage paint?
No, a properly installed vehicle wrap actually protects the paint.
How long does a wrap last?
The lifespan of a vinyl car wrap varies based on several factors, including the quality of the film, the care and maintenance it receives, and the level of daily wear and tear from driving. High-quality wraps, when properly maintained, can last anywhere from 5 to 7 years. Thicker films tend to be more durable and resistant to damage.
How do I care for my vehicle wrap?
Proper care and maintenance of your vehicle wrap can extend its lifespan and keep it looking its best. Here are some tips for caring for your vehicle wrap:
- Regular Washing: Wash your vehicle regularly using a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive materials that can scratch the wrap. Avoid High-Pressure Washing.
- Hand Drying: After washing, dry the vehicle with a clean microfiber cloth to avoid water spots and streaks.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use solvents, oil-based cleaners, or other harsh chemicals on the wrap, as they can damage the vinyl.
- Parking Considerations: Whenever possible, park your vehicle in a shaded area or indoors to protect the wrap from prolonged sun exposure, which can cause fading and deterioration.
- Waxing and Polishing: Avoid using traditional waxes or polishes, as they can damage the vinyl. If necessary, use a vinyl-specific protectant to enhance the wrap’s appearance.
- Spot Cleaning: For stubborn stains, use isopropyl alcohol diluted with water. Test a small area first to ensure it does not damage the wrap.
By following these guidelines, you can keep your vehicle wrap looking vibrant and in excellent condition for years to come.

Should I wash my vehicle before it gets wrapped?
What if my wrap gets damaged?
Vehicle wraps can be damaged similarly to painted surfaces. The appropriate course of action depends on the extent, location, and nature of the damage.
In most cases, we can replace only the damaged section using leftover film from your initial installation. If necessary, we may need to reprint graphics or patch specific areas. Since we use computer-generated files for our designs, we can produce replacement sections on demand.
For extensive damage, the wrap may need to be removed entirely. We will assess the situation and provide the best solution to restore your wrap.
How Vinyl Wrapping Works
- Here are the steps to getting your vehicle wrapped.
- Feel free to schedule an appointment at any time.
- Once a deposit is made you are put next in line for install.
Choosing what to wrap
Anything getting wrapped should have a smooth surface. Wrap does not adhere well to all plastics, rubbers, and composite materials because these are oil-based materials. Dents, dings, deep scratches will show through vinyl and any body work must be addressed before we do a wrap. Some extremely detailed grills and emblems cannot be wrapped. Other complex curves and rounded objects may need a 'relief' cut to conform properly. We can wrap almost anything, but some physical limitations apply.
Picking Your color and material
Work Deposit
There are thousands of types of vinyl available so we do not keep inventory of them all. We must order all supplies necessary for your project before we can start. The mandatory deposit pays for these supplies and materials. This is very standard practice in all sign and vinyl shops. Generally the deposit is 50% of total estimate but prices may vary.
Wash and prep your project
For the best possible results please have your vehicle ready for installation. We highly recomend washing vehicle 1 day before, this gives it time to completely dry. We charge extra for dirty vehicles. Clay bar is recommended but not always necessary. The better the prep, the better the finished look.

The Wrapping Process

The Vehicle Wrapping Process: Why It’s Not a One-Day Job
Wrapping a vehicle is an intricate and time-consuming process that demands attention to detail at every step. While it may seem like a simple task, a high-quality wrap requires thorough preparation, precision, and patience to ensure a flawless and long-lasting finish. Here’s why a one-day wrap just isn’t feasible and what makes the process so involved:
- Design and Planning
The journey begins with selecting the perfect design or color for your wrap. Custom graphics can take several weeks to finalize, as each detail must be carefully crafted and approved by you or your business before moving forward. - Material Preparation
Once the design is approved, a mandatory deposit is required to order the necessary materials. This ensures that everything is ready and tailored to your vehicle’s specifications. - Vehicle Preparation
Before any wrap is applied, the vehicle must be thoroughly washed and delivered to our facility. On the first day, we disassemble the vehicle, stripping it down to ensure all surfaces are accessible. A deep clean follows, focusing on removing dirt and grime from every crevice. A clay bar treatment may also be applied if needed. - Surface Preparation
The second day is dedicated to further cleaning and surface preparation. This step is crucial for ensuring a smooth, durable finish. We also begin wrapping the door jams, a detail often overlooked but essential for a seamless look. - Main Body Wrapping
Days three and four are when the transformation truly begins. We carefully wrap the vehicle’s main body, including the hood, roof, and doors, making sure every piece is perfectly aligned and bubble-free. - Final Wrapping and Reassembly
On the final days, we complete the wrapping process and reassemble all trim components. Attention to detail is key here, as we make sure every edge is secured, and all elements are flawlessly integrated. - Delivery and Enjoyment
Once the vehicle is fully wrapped and reassembled, it’s ready for delivery. Now, you can enjoy your newly transformed ride, knowing that the time and care invested have resulted in a top-quality finish that will turn heads for years to come.
This multi-step process ensures that your vehicle wrap not only looks stunning but also stands the test of time. Each phase is essential for achieving a high-quality result, which is why a rushed, one-day wrap simply cannot deliver the same level of excellence.

Vinyl Wrap VS. Paint

The Great Debate. What's right for you?
- Customization and Variety:
- Vinyl Wrapping offers a wider range of colors, finishes, and textures, including unique designs, patterns, and special effects that are often not available with traditional automotive paint.
- Versibility:
- Vinyl allows you to easily change the vehicle’s appearance or return to the original paint without permanent alteration, making it ideal for temporary changes or promotional purposes.
- Protection for Original Paint:
- Vinly film acts as a protective layer over the original paint, shielding it from UV rays, road debris, and minor scratches, potentially preserving the vehicle’s resale value.
- Cost-Effective:
- Generally vinyl is less expensive than a high-quality paint job, especially for complex designs or multiple color changes.
- Faster Installation:
- Vinyl wraps are typically completed within a few days, compared to the weeks often required for a full paint job, minimizing vehicle downtime.
- Easier Maintenance and Repair:
- Individual sections of the wrap can be replaced or repaired if damaged, without affecting the entire vehicle’s appearance.
- Less Labor-Intensive:
- Requires less preparation work and fewer steps compared to painting, which involves sanding, priming, and multiple layers of paint.
